Pablo read Music at St John’s College, Cambridge, where he was a Choral scholar and a Lay Clerk. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music, and participated in the ENO Opera Works programme.

 

Recent opera work: The Defendant in ENO Trial By Jury, Cover Frederic in ENO Pirates of Penzance, ENO chorus in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, La Boheme, Force of Destiny, Girl of The Golden West, and Mastersingers of Nuremberg (Apprentice); Garsington Opera Gondolier in Death in Venice and chorus in Cosi Fan Tutti; Frederic in Pirates of Penzance for Wandsworth Festival Chorus; Tamino in Magic Flute for ENO George Harewood Gala (rehearsal dep); Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Idamante in Idomeneo and Grimoaldo in Rodelinda (ENO Opera Works); Count Almaviva in Barber of Seville for Jackdaws Opera (featured on BBC radio); chorus in L'Elisir d'amore at 2014 Verbier festival, Switzerland; Colonel Fairfax in Yeomen of the Guard at Buxton Opera 2013 International G&S festival.

 

Forthcoming: The Defendant in Trial By Jury with ENO in June 2017.

 

In concert, soloist in: Puccini Messa di Gloria;  Monteverdi Vespers; Handel Messiah, Israel in Egypt; Ramirez Misa Criolla; Haydn Nelson Mass; Mozart C Minor Mass; Britten Folk Songs; Handel and Purcell Ode on St. Cecilia's Day; Somerset Song Prize 2013 finalist. As a treble (2001-03) Pablo performed Miles in Britten Turn of the Screw at Aix-en-Provence festival, Vienna and Edinburgh festivals, and in Athens and Geneva. Pablo made his film debut as Amahl in Menotti Amahl and the Night Visitors, broadcast by BBC2 on Christmas Eve 2002.
